Spiced French Toast
Sometimes its great to have a bit of a spoiling and different breakfast and what better way that starting your day with eggs! They are full of protien which is key for your little ones growth. This is an indulgent and delicious breakfast.
3- 4 Slices of wholemeal or wholemeal spelt bread
coconut milk/ oat milk or regular dairy
Mix the eggs and milk together and pour in a large bowl or dipped plate. Place your slices of bread in to your egg mix and allow the bread to absorb the wetness.
Place a knob of coconut oil into a frying pan and heat on a medium heat. Gently pan fry the slices of soaked bread in your pan. Cook for up to 2 minutes per side - until you create a lovely browned, caramelised effect.
Serve with a sprinkling of cinnamon and light drizzle of maple syrup.
